Nottinghamshire County Council Roadworks - Ewe Lamb Lane

Affected Services - 18X & 511

Dates - Monday 12th until Friday 20th January 2026

Nottinghamshire County Council have planned roadworks in Stapleford for 10 weeks. During this period the 18X and Service 511 will have to take the following diversion through Ewe Lamb Lane.

Ewe Lamb Lane, Central Ave & Ryecroft Street to normal route

All stops will be observed whilst off route and updates will be posted as the works progress.

Nottingham City Council Roadworks - Glaisdale Parkway

Affected Services - L2

Dates - Monday 19th January until Friday 3rd March between 07:00 - 17:00

Nottingham City Council have planned roadworks for the Glaisdale Parkway for 10 weeks. Between the times of 07:00 - 17:00 the service L2 cannot serve the Glaisdale industrial estate and instead will serve bus stops along Glaisdale Drive.

Severn Trent Water Roadworks - Town Street - Bramcote

Affected Services - 18

Dates - Monday 5th until Friday 9th January 2026

Severn Trent Water have planned works in place to repair and rebuild sluice valve chambers in the centre of the carriageway along Town Street, Bramcote Village.

All stops from the Beeston Interchange and the Sherwin Arms pub will not be served in both directions until the roadworks have finished.

Service 18 will divert via Wollaton Road, A52 Derby Road to normal route and the same in reverse. All stops will be observed whilst operating the diversion route.

A52 Resurfacing Works - QMC Island to Priory Island

Affected Services - 18, 18a, 18b, 18x, 20, L2

Dates - June 2025 (for 12 months)

Update - National Highways have advised that during December 2025, works will be suspended and this section of route will be re-opened in both directions. Further information relating to works taking place in January will be provided in due course.

National Highways are undertaking a full resurfacing project in relation to Derby Road between the QMC Roundabout and Priory Island.

This work will be undertaken in two phases:

Phase One - Closure of Outbound A52

Phase Two - Closure of Inbound A52

These works will see the road surface replaced in its entirety and new cycle lanes introduced.
