Closure of Mount Street Exit onto Maid Marian Way
Affected Services - 18, 18a, 18b, 18x, L4.
Date - Monday 13th January 2025
From Monday 13th January 2025 for around 2 weeks, there will be changes to some of our services due to the closure of the exit of Mount Street where the works are taking place to re-develop the Maid Marian Way junction.
Services 18, 18a, 18b, 18x will enter the City Centre and terminate at Maid Marian Way (M2) the service will recommence on Maid Marian Way using the stop named Mount Street (M6) which is located outside 4550 miles from Delhi restaurant.
Service L4 will continue operating along Upper Parliament Street and will use Stop (U2)
Closure of Tollhouse Hill Bus Stop
Affected Services - 18, 18a, 18b, 18x.
Date - Monday 6th January 2025
Further work will begin near Tollhouse hill resulting in the closure of the inbound stop. Whilst this stop is closed, customers can use the previous stop located on Wollaton Street or use the next available stop on Maid Marian Way situated outside the light shop.
The Tollhouse Hill stop is due to be closed for 10 weeks.
Removal of Roundabout - Maid Marian Way
Affected Services - 18, 18a, 18b, 18x, 20, L2, L4, L14
Date - Tuesday 7th May (for 12 months)
Works are taking place to remove the roundabout at the Maid Marian Way/Upper Parliament Street/Toll House Hill junction.
These works are scheduled to last for twelve months.
Delays may be experienced, as works develop through the various stages.

A52 Derby Road Bridge Repairs Road Closures & Diversions
Affected Services - 18, 18a, 18b, 18x, 20, L2, Medilink
Dates - Tuesday 7th May 2024 until Wednesday 14th May 2025
National Highways will be undertaking works to the damaged edge beam at the A52 Derby Road Junction (North Bridge on the QMC Roundabout) and replace with a precast beam to improve the safety and maintain the integrity of the structure. In addition various works including Cadent Gas who will install a pipe diversion.
During the above dates, there will be various lane closures during the construction period and five additional phases of work which will be mainly overnight and three weekend closures of Middleton Boulevard.
Further details will be announced when closures are required.
Customers are advised that there are likely to be delays, especially at peak times.
