Route 442

Route 442 operates between Bestwood Village and Holgate Academy.

The current timetable is shown below.

Fares & Passes - Commencing 23rd February

From Monday 23rd February (start of the new term) pupils travelling to/from Holgate Academy will not be permitted to pay for the travel on the bus. 

All pupils will require a bus pass for all journeys made on this service. The pass is issued by Nottinghamshire County Council and further details can be found via this link

The driver will only be able to accept original passes for travel as of Monday 23rd February. It is not permissible to show a screen shot from mobile devices - This is due to potential fraud 

When travelling

• Please ensure that you arrive at your bus stop at least 5 minutes before the bus is due to arrive. 
• The bus will stop at all bus stops along the route, but will not pick up in between bus stops or unrecognised places.
• Please signal clearly to the bus driver as the bus approaches the bus stop you are wishing to travel - Please do not assume the driver will stop.
• If you are waiting at a bus stop where there is limited light/no light, use the torch on your smart phone and shine towards the driver (waving motion) so that the driver can see you clearly - Please do not shine directly in to their eyes.
• When the doors open, please ensure that you show your scholar pass.
• Take your seat and the bus will continue on its way.
• When arriving at school or in the afternoon when arriving at your home stop, please ensure that you have all of your personal belongings with you.
