Notts County Promotion -Civic Reception

Congratulations to Notts County who secured promotion to League 1 at Wembley on Monday 25th May, beating Salford 3-0.

To celebrate the clubs achievement, there will be a Civic Reception taking place at the Council House, which will result in the closure of several streets around the Market Square.

Road closures will commence from 13:30 until 17:00, with services diverting as follows:

Stops on Beasmarket Hill have been closed early by the council so these diversions will be in place for the whole day today 

Services 18, 18a, 18b, 18x

The following journeys will  not be able to serve Beastmarket Hill and will commence from the Grosvenor Casino at Mount Street:

Service 18 towards Stapleford - 13:45, 14:45, 15:45, 16:45

Service 18a towards Wollaton - 14:15, 15:15

Service 18b towards Beeston - 16:15

Service 18x towards Stapleford - 16:20

Journeys arriving into Nottingham between 13:30 and 17:00 will use Maid Marian Way (M2) before heading towards Mount Street 

Service 20

The 14:40 journey from Victoria Centre to Wollaton Estates will not be able to serve Mount Street, therefore please wait at the next stop along the route, which will be Collin Street (C1)

Service L4

The 14:35 journey from Victoria Centre to Strelley will not be able to serve Mount Street, therefore please wait at the next stop along the route, which will be Cathedral (Y2) 

No other services are affected.
