QMC Roundabout Closure

National Highways will be closing QMC Roundabout from 20:00 Friday 18th October until 06:00 Monday 21st October. 

During this time, the following services will be diverted:

Medilink 1

Medilink 1 will enter and exit the QMC via Leen Gate and Dunkirk Island and will then continue under the QMC roundabout.

Minor delays expected on all journeys departing QMC on Friday evening after 20:00 and first journeys operating on Monday 21st October.

Services 18, 18a, 18b

Journeys towards Beeston, Stapleford and Wollaton can follow normal route.

All stops on the diversion route will be served

Journeys towards Nottingham will operate as normal to Dunkirk Island, then continue onto Abbey Street, Gregory Street and turning right onto Derby Road when normal route will continue.

The following stops will not be served:

University East Entrance (QM01)

QMC Main Entrance (QM02)

QMC (QM03)

Hillside (LE01)

Triumph Road (LE02)

All stops on the diversion route will be served

Service L2

Journeys towards Mornington Crescent will operate normal route via Derby Road before turning right onto Triumph Road, Left Wollaton Road, follow road to Crown Island, Straight over Crown Island to normal route.

The following stops will not be served:

Hillside (LE12)

QMC Main Entrance (QM04)

Oundle Drive (WO30)

Wollaton Hall Drive (WO31)

Scalford Drive (Stop WO32)

Hawton Crescent (Stop WO78)

Jubilee Campus (Stop WO33)

All stops on the diversion route will be served

Journeys towards Nottingham will operate as normal route.
