CT4N Charitable Trust Promises Awesome Autumn Outings

After a successful summer of bargain days out to top local attractions, local community groups can now look forward to a packed programme of activities thanks to CT4N Charitable Trust.

We have devised a whole new range of discounted trips to run from September 18 to November 24.

Destinations include everything from traditional market towns to art galleries, historic houses, garden centres and a host of other interesting attractions.

Ian Combellack, CT4N Managing Director, commented: “We have the well-trained and sympathetic drivers and the accessible buses to make sure that people with mobility problems, wheelchair users and anyone who might otherwise struggle to use public transport can have a wonderful day out at a remarkably low cost.

“Thanks to our ‘Awesome Autumn Outings’ programme, local groups can enjoy great days out at attractions such as Thoresby Park, with its acres of rich, unspoilt English countryside, or discover the secrets of pottery making during a Denby factory tour.

“Our packed autumn programme also includes trips to Nottingham Contemporary, one of the largest galleries of contemporary art in the UK, the street market in Melton Mowbray, and the East Bridgford Garden & Home Centre.”

In all, there are ten destinations to choose from. Charges for trips of up to 16 passengers range from as little as £60 for trips to attractions that are close to home, rising to £175 for destinations a little further afield.

The prices cover the whole group, so the price per passenger can work out to as little as £4 each. Prices quoted do not include admission charges for the destinations, although a number of attractions are free to enter.

“As always, our aim is not only to provide a great day out at a great price but also to provide a sociable group outing to help tackle the kind of social isolation that can become a factor for anyone who has difficulties travelling independently or on public transport,” Ian added.
